YOU'RE INVITED

Attend either of our two Sunday worship services. A traditional worship is held at 8:30 a.m., and a praise worship service is held at 11 a.m.

Sunday school for youth and adults is at 9:45 a.m. (except during summer months). See our online calendar for all upcoming events and activities.

Ample parking is available in front and adjacent to the church at 18th Street and Mississippi Boulevard, Bettendorf.

Job Opportunities

Children's Ministry Director

We are seeking a person with a strong background in Christian education and experience in children's ministries who demonstrates creative Spirit-Filled leadership qualities.

The position is part-time for approximately 20 hours per week.

The responsibilities will be to oversee the children's ministries in partnership with clergy and Education Commission, coordinate the planning and implementation of broad educational programs for children, research and assess curriculum and make recommendations to the Education Commission.

Our UMC History

The people of Asbury United Methodist Church are part of the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Our worldwide connection includes approximately 12.8 million members. The United Methodist Church was formed when the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged in 1968, but we trace our heritage back to the movement begun in 1729 in England by John and Charles Wesley.
